i know i really ought to blog about my one month absence in sg, which i have been travelling 15 cities in europe! woah!! i know 15 is a lot in 30 days, but some places were just a day trip kinda thing. like theres nothing much to see in pisa apart from the leaning tower of pisa. haha. and some cities are really tiny ie. the entire city is walkable so a day or two is enough to cover most of the sights and prominent stuff. but but i can only say there can never be enough time to cover london or paris! we spent about 4-5 days in each but seriously its not enough! i miss krispy kremes! and the beautiful eiffel tower!
thinking back about the trip only makes me miss it more :( but im glad im back cos if not i'll be missing clarence, my family, my teamamtes and the food here!
it has been a really eventful trip so with the nasty stuff first. i dropped my phone into the train tracks on the first day of the trip in rome :( i was smsing clarence as we were rushing onto the metro so tian pulled me in. but as she did that this guy bumped into her so she knocked into me and my phone flew into the space between the metro and the platform :( so we had to head back to retrieve it after alot of hassle and gesturing with the metro staff. kudos to maccan! my phone was dead but at least i could get my sim card out and use tian's spare phone for the rest of the trip. speaking of which, i better repair my phone soon!
then tian lost her camera in vienna.. ok no she didnt lose her camera, she got pickpocketted! all the rumours you hear about how unsafe european cities can be, they are true! we were just walking along and after going into h&m (omg every shopper should go there at least once!), she took clothes to try but at the fitting room she realised that her bag was unzipped and her camera is gone! thank god everything else is still there though. so we went to make a police report so she could claim insurance back in sg. stupid thieves!
and in prague, when 3 of us (all girls, bad choice) were clubbing at prague's most well known 5 storey high club,we got harrassed by two drunk naked guys! they kept dancing around us (we figured cos we are asians, the minorities there, we look different etc. hence to be bullied) it was a gross encounter so im so glad clubs in sg arent like that.
when we were in munich, it got so ridiculously cold like 10 degrees celcius in the afternoon and it was raining and all, very very gloomy and of course freezing. i had to buy a coat cos i really couldnt take the cold. bah :(im a lousy penguin! haha.
and of course the bed bug bites from amsterdam thats scarring my skin now! boohoo :( i cant paddle/exercise or do anything that requires my arms to be exposed. it really will scare people off! sigh. it better recover soon! seen a doctor already if anybody is wondering. its probably the worse thing that can happen during a trip cos its freaking itchy, and u cant communicate with doctors or pharmacists cos their english sucks!
but despite all the above, the trip is generally very fun and enjoyable! let the photos do the talking! :)
